Fastest payouts: what we timed, not what was advertised

Measured from the click to the money landing. Approval counts, because it is part of your wait.

What we actually time

From the click on request to the money being in the account. Not the marketing figure, not the time the cashier displays, and not the payment provider's own quoted range. Approval is part of the measurement because it is part of your wait.

The variable nobody controls for

First withdrawals are slower than every one after them, because the identity check happens then. Compare a first payout at one casino with a fifth payout at another and the comparison is meaningless. Every timing above is from an account where verification was already complete.

How to make yours faster

  1. Verify on day one, with photos taken directly in the browser rather than pulled from your camera roll. Cropped or reflective images get rejected.
  2. Withdraw by the method you deposited with.
  3. Check for an active bonus before requesting. Unmet wagering blocks the request silently at some casinos.
  4. Request early in the business day rather than late at night. Approval queues are staffed on business hours at most operators.

For the five casinos we cover, the first-deposit codes and the payment methods each cashier shows are listed in the individual reviews and on the comparison page. The advice above applies to all of them: verify early, withdraw by the route you deposited with, and clear any bonus before you ask for the money.

The pending window, and why it exists

Most casinos hold a new withdrawal in a pending state before anyone looks at it. Some call it a review period, some do not name it at all. During that window the request can usually be cancelled from your side, and the money goes straight back into the playable balance. That is the part to watch: a cancel button on a pending withdrawal is an invitation to keep playing, and the casino knows it. If you meant to cash out, leave the request alone and log off.

A short pending window is not a red flag on its own. Approval teams check that the account is verified, that no bonus is still running and that the payout goes back to the method the deposit came from. What matters is whether the window is a few hours or several days, and the only way to know is to withdraw once and time it.

Where Canadian payouts actually lose time

Crypto: fast, with two catches

Once a crypto withdrawal is approved, the transfer itself is the quickest of any method, usually minutes. The catches sit on either side of it. Before: picking the wrong network for the coin, which can mean funds that arrive nowhere useful. After: turning the coins back into dollars on an exchange, which has its own verification and its own withdrawal queue to your bank. If you need dollars in your chequing account rather than coins in a wallet, count that second leg in your timing.

The five we cover, read for speed

All five run a cashier with cards and crypto, and all five have an iPhone and Android app you install straight from the casino's own site, which is where most people check a payout anyway. What differs is the welcome offer, and the one rule that matters for speed is that an active bonus can hold your withdrawal until its wagering is done.

If a fast first payout is what you care about most, the honest advice is to think twice about the bonus. Play the first deposit without one, finish verification the same day, and your first withdrawal has nothing standing in front of it.

A two-minute checklist before you press withdraw

  1. Is the account verified, with your address document accepted and not just uploaded?
  2. Is any bonus still active, even one you forgot you claimed?
  3. Are you withdrawing to the same card, wallet or crypto address you deposited from?
  4. Is it a weekday morning? Approval desks clear their queue faster then.
  5. Do you know the minimum and maximum per request, so the payout is not split?

Five yes answers and a payout is as fast as that casino can make it. A single no is usually the whole explanation when someone tells us their withdrawal is stuck.

Frequently asked questions

How do you measure payout speed?

From the moment we click request to the moment funds are in the account, approval included. Marketing figures usually quote only the transfer step.

Why was my first withdrawal so slow?

Identity verification happens then. Every payout after it is faster. Doing the check on the day you open the account removes the delay entirely.

Which method is quickest?

E-wallets, then Interac, then cards. Crypto where offered is quickest of all once approval has happened, because the transfer itself is near-instant.

Can I cancel a withdrawal while it is pending?

At many casinos, yes, and the money returns to your playable balance. If you meant to cash out, leave the request alone: cancelling is how a payout turns back into play.

Does a welcome bonus slow down my withdrawal?

It can. While a bonus is active, the wagering has to be finished before the request is approved. Playing a first deposit without a bonus removes that wait.

Why did my Interac payout arrive in two parts?

Banks set their own per-transaction and daily Interac limits. A payout above them can be split or held on the receiving side, not by the casino.
